Revised Policies

The Administrative and Professional Classifications Policy and the Job Classifications Policy have been combined. The combined policy is now titled the Administrative and Professional and Classified Job Classifications Policy (No. 2.66, http://legal.uth.tmc.edu/hoop/02/2_66.html). For questions regarding management A&P positions and classified positions, contact Human Resources. For questions regarding academic A&P positions, contact the Office of Academic Affairs.

The Fund Accounting Structure Policy (No. 11.01, http://legal.uth.tmc.edu/hoop/11/11_01.html) has been revised to include a requirement that supervisors of account managers and of employees who process transactions must provide these employees with a copy of this policy and ensure the employees have a basic understanding of the information within the policy prior to allowing the employees to complete any transactions within the university’s financial management system. For questions concerning this policy or the fund accounting structure, contact General Accounting and/or Budget and Financial Reporting.

The Financial Reporting Policy (No. 11.04, http://legal.uth.tmc.edu/hoop/11/11_04.html) has been revised to reflect certification requriements for financial reports. Questions concerning this policy should be directed to Budgets & Financial Reporting.

Deleted Policies

The Purchases from State or Government Agencies Policy has been deleted. Please refer to HOOP Policy 1.04 Authority to Execute Contracts and Make Purchases.
