Revised Policies

The Parental Leave Policy (No. 2.40D, http://legal.uth.tmc.edu/hoop/02/2_40D.html) has been revised to indicate when employees may be eligible for leave under the Family and Medical Leave Policy (No. 2.40C, http://legal.uth.tmc.edu/hoop/02/2_40C). Questions regarding the use of either type of leave should be directed to Human Resources.

The Stipends Policy (No. 23.07, http://legal.uth.tmc.edu/hoop/23/23_07.html) has been revised. Revisions include changes to who may qualify as a stipend recipient, the addition of a definition of a stipend, and revised information regarding taxes witheld from stipend payments. For questions regarding qualification as a stipend recipient, contact the applicable dean or institute head’s office. For questions regarding expense allowability on sponsored projects contact the Post Award Finance Team
