Revised Policies

The Student Criminal Background Check Policy (No. 6.19, http://legal.uth.tmc.edu/06/06_19.html) has been revised to describe when criminal background checks may be conducted on students. Additionally, students are required to report to their respective Dean’s office any arrests for and/or criminal charges of any misdemeanor or felony offenses, and any misdemeanor or felony convictions and deferrals of adjudication (other than minor traffic violations) within 30 days of occurrence. Nondisclosure or falsification may be grounds for dismissal. Contact the Office of Academic Affairs with any questions regarding this policy.
